He holds certifications in music methodologies like the Kodaly Method, Conversational Solfege, First Steps in music and Every Child can from the Suzuki method. Aside from classroom and piano teaching, Mr. Gian enjoys working as an accompanist and church pianist.

He's passionate about instilling a love of music in students of all ages. He taught general music for Transitional Kinder up to High school. He caters to the needs and goals of every individual student and supports them in their different musical journeys.

He is a member of California Music Educators Association, California Teachers Association, National Association for Music Educators, National Educators Association, International Kodaly Society, Music Teachers National Association and International Music Education Society and is currently working on completing his Orff levels and Suzuki Methodology levels for piano.
